Frequently asked questions.

When and where is the reunion being held?

The 2026 Family Reunion, titled CELEBRATION, will be held July 29 – August 2, 2026, at the beautiful Moon Palace in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Why the Moon Palace?

The Moon Palace is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort that can accommodate our large group. It’s close enough to the airport for convenience while also allowing us the option to take a group trip to Kingston.

Who is invited to the Family Reunion?

All descendants of Solomon and Elizabeth, along with their family and friends.

How do I register and reserve my spot?

Pay your reunion registration fee online through the family store at hibbertfamily.com, or complete a paper registration form and mail it to: 9425 Martin Road, Roswell, GA 30076.

If paying by check, please make payable to Hibbert Family Association, LLC.

How much is the registration fee?

  • Ages 12–80: $50

  • Ages 5–11: $25

  • Under 4 or over 80: $10

What does the registration for?

The registration fee serves as your RSVP. It helps us plan for you by creating name tags and assigning reunion T-shirts. Registration covers incidental costs for planning the reunion such as AV equipment rental and decorations.

Is there unlimited space?

No, space is limited. Please register early to secure your spot before we reach the cap.

What’s the difference between Family Dues and Reunion Registration?

Family dues and reunion registration are separate.

  • Family dues: Annual contributions to support the family fund, trust, and foundation.

  • Reunion registration: Covers costs for this specific reunion.
Note: Family dues must be paid to access the reunion planning pages.

Who should pay family dues?

Family dues are voluntary but strongly encouraged. They should be paid by each income-earning family member. For example, in a household of four (parents + two children), if three earn income, then three should pay dues. Friends are only responsible for reunion registration, not family dues.

Is there a group block for hotel rooms?

Yes, the Family Reunion Committee has reserved a group block. Rooms must be booked using the provided link.

What benefits come with our group reservation?

  • No surcharges on private functions.

  • 15% spa discount.

  • $500 resort credit (for stays of 4+ nights).

  • Complimentary airport roundtrip transportation.

  • Children 17 and under stay free with parents.

I found a cheaper rate. Can I book outside the group?

We strongly discourage it. Booking outside the group:

  • Reduces our ability to earn upgrades.

  • May come with “no cancel” restrictions and immediate full payment.

  • Excludes you from the group wristband needed for events.

  • Excludes group benefits (spa discount, resort credit, etc.)

  • Requires additional payment to attend group functions ($35 for cocktail / $70 for banquet.)

I’m not staying at the resort, but I’d like to attend events. How can I do that?

You must still register. The resort requires $245 per person per day for Day Passes (subject to availability).

Are the group rates and concessions extended beyond the reunion days?

Yes, You can book two days prior and one day post reunion dates. So, to book inside of the reunion block those days are: July 27 through August 3, 2026 despite the reunion date being July 29 through August 2, 2026.

What are the planned reunion events?

Events include:

  • Awards Banquet

  • Beach Olympics

  • Memorial Service

  • Group Excursion

  • Family Photo

Additional breakout activities may also be scheduled. Participation is optional.

What should I pack?

Comfortable summer clothes, swimwear, evening wear for the banquet, sunscreen, and an all-white outfit for the family photo. Additional themed outfits may be announced later.
